Currently, I was informed that all generated letters would be able to be defaulted to tracking. However, this is a bit excessive for our clinic as our doctor generates many consult letters daily, and it would be very difficult to comb through these for the referrals. As it is now, the function is only available when sending each letter, but then we would need to rely on the doctor to remember to select this function when sending her generated letter each time.
Agreed, currently the only way we can track the Referral Letters we send is by checking the 'Referral Letter' button on the screen that comes up once we are about to send the letter. The biggest issue with this is that it's often the Doctor that's sending the letters once he reviews them and he will often forget to check that button. It would be very helpful if there was a way for this button to be default selected for any letters sent using the 'Referral Letter' template rather than only having the option to default track ALL letters.
