Recently, Patient Messaging was implemented in Accuro. It is a connection of the Medeo Messaging functionality direct from the EMR.
When logged in through Medeo, there is the option to view a time stamp from when the patient read the message that was sent to them. This feature is not available in Accuro.
It would be nice if Accuro could display the same read receipt from the Medeo application in the EMR as well.
Thank you Dr. Daien! Will look into this.
This is only partially implemented. You can see read receipt info but you must enter EVERY message to identify which ones are read and which ones are not. Given that we have sent hundreds if not more messages this is impractical, so there needs to be:
1 - a way to quickly see what sent messages have not been read by the recipient - color code
2 - a filter to show all messages not read by the recipient OR a query to identify all messages not read by the recipient
This is not nice to have ..... this is must have.
Mimi, please ensure Shelley gets this message.
Thanks,
Dr. Daien
Read Receipts are now implemented.
this is now implemented, no?
Message from a client regarding read receipts - I do have to log into medeo, to see if a message has been read I have to actually click on the message, and then there is a very small note at the bottom of the message saying "viewed by...". The messages in the task bar on the left side of the screen should instead be color coded or otherwise highlighted to indicate quickly and in a glance which ones have been viewed and which ones haven't. or better yet have a file that stores read messages and one that stores unviewed ones.
It is necessary from a medical-legal perspective and as per our PIA to track read vs unread messages. This is currently done in stand alone Medeo but not in the integrated version. It would be best to have a flag that indicates read vs unread displayed near the patients name (on the initial messaging screen) so you don't have to actually open the message to see if it is marked read vs unread. Currently, in stand alone medeo you must open the message and scroll to the bottom to see read vs unread - this is very time consuming. Also, being able to filter read vs unread would be ideal. Thank you.
