Currently when booking appointments currently accuro will book appointments for deceased patients with out giving a warning or stopping the clinic from doing it.
Sorry, I was seeing this as online booking. Would like a simple way to prevent patients from booking online
Expand the idea to making a way for a clinic to prevent certain patients from booking, like a drop down or check box that automattically gets filled if patient is deceased.
Accuro does warn you as soon as you load a Deceased Patient. You are prompted with a Global Message that tells you the patient is Deceased. The intention is that you stop moving forward and do not schedule an appointment.
You are correct that Accuro will allow you to schedule an appointment for a Deceased patient if you choose to ignore the pop up.
You can make the Deceased patient even more obvious by adding a Status automatically when marking patients as Deceased. If you use the Deceased checkbox, all patients with this selected will have an automatic Global Message. A System Admin can head into System Settings > General and also indicate an Inactive Status for their Deceased patients so that the colour of the patient's name also changes. Providing another visual indicator to not proceed with scheduling visits.
