to get a warning system on EMR for the unrecieved mammogram /colonoscopy/ blood tests results

Sometimes we order a lab or test but we do not get the result back. It might be for a few reasons: patient did not go for the test , or patient has gone for the test, but the result was not faxed /mailed back to us.

We do not want miss tracking the patient results. For example, patient was diagnosed with abnormal findings but because we do not get the result back, we assume nothing is wrong. By a system that warns us about pending results, we have better idea how to follow up with patient.

You can add forms under the Requisitions category, which then automatically tracks these forms. When a result for these forms comes back, users would need to reconcile the tracked form. If a result doesn't come back, under the Outstanding Requisitions, Referrals and Orders (ORRO) report, on the patient tasks screen, or on the Encounter notes tab if you have tracking enabled, you will be able to see if the patient has any outstanding items. The ORRO would be able to show you a list of all patients who had a requisition completed that was not reconciled.

Not sure if this will work for your clinic, but thought I'd provide the idea
