Default Type of Document when filing

A choice of document name is needed before filing in Virtual Chart. The default is always "middle of all choices". I would like the ability to choose my default document name. One less click will save time.

It appears you can set a default, as long as you have access to Manage Patient Folders.

In your Documents section, click into the dropdown for Type.

Scroll up to the top and click on Manage.

Whichever type is currently highlighted is your default. So click onto the Type you want to make your default and close the window.

You should notice now that any time you head into the documents section your Type reverts back to your default.

Alternatively, if you are filing documents you can always check the box for Batch Mode to retain Type, Sub-Type, Created Date, Received Date, Reviewed Date, Priority, Description and Provider.

Try it and let us know how it goes!
