Fax auto link to patient pharmacy

It would be beneficial to have a quick link button when faxing so that the pharmacy that is linked to the patient automatically pops up (similar to how a referring or family doctor can be added with one button).

Although there is no button currently to pull a patient's preferred pharmacy as a fax recipient on anything other than a Prescription, we recommend adding the patient's preferred pharmacy to the demographic's status bar so it is visible at all times when in a patient chart.

To modify your demographics status bar (the patient information at the top or bottom of your Accuro window):

    1. In the Accuro Menu go to File > User Preferences

    2. Select the Display tab on the left

    3. Click onto the Display tab along the top

    4. You will see 2 lines for the Demographics Status Bar

    5. Put your cursor in the location you want the preferred pharmacy to appear, you can even type a label like "Patient Pharmacy" if you wish

    6. Then right click to view the information you can pull into the status bar

    7. Hover over "Patient", then move over to "Pharmacy Name"

    8. Once you click onto Pharmacy Name, the tag is inserted into the status bar

    9. Continue steps 6 through 9 to add more of the pharmacy details. Remember to put spaces in between each tag so they are easier to read

    10. When finished, press 'OK' to save and close the User Preferences window

    11. You can now see the patient's preferred pharmacy information at all times, which will make it easier to search the address book for the recipient.
