When Generating Letters, the Referring Provider for a patient is automatically the recipient and the Family Physician is automatically included in the Carbon Copies.

In the Letter Generation window, if you click the Pencil to edit the Carbon Copies, you can add other manually added providers as default recipients for all patients.

    1. Generate a letter for any patient

    2. Click onto the Edit button (pencil) in the Carbon Copies box

    3. Click the add button in the Default Recipients window that opens

    4. In the dropdown you can choose the default recipients you want for all of your letters - this can include the Manually Added providers from the Patient's Demographics

    5. Click OK after making your selections

    6. Then click OK again to save

Now, any letter you generate will automatically CC the default recipients you set, provided the patient has the Manually Added Providers

In order to use the Manually Added Providers section in Patient Demographics:

    1. Go to the Patients section along the left

    2. Click into the Providers tab

    3. Ensure a patient is loaded

    4. Under the Manually Added section, click the add button so that a line appears where you can add a manually added provider

    5. You can use the Magnifying Glass to search for a provider in your address book

    6. If you'd like you can categorize the Manually Added Providers

      1. In the dropdown, go into Manage

      2. Use the add button to add any provider types you may wish to CC on your letters

      3. Close the window to save

    7. Update the Patient's demographics
