The 7 day waiting period seems excessive and unnecessary. I'm submitting the request form myself, with all the relevant/required information, so why does it take this long? Sometimes we have trainees and students rotating through our clinic and these arrangements are frequently made with little lead time. This is common with the local university and teaching hospitals that we work with, and we need to be able to get things working quickly. Allow us to manage this ourselves!! Create a separate category (under Users) specifically for medical students or residents, or similar, which will exclude them from the count used to charge the clinic, but still allow all relevant access.
I agree the wait excessive, I ALWAYS have to call the day the physician or resident start and it's usually still not done and I submitted 2 weeks in advance.
