As modifying gender in Accuro (MALE / FEMALE only options) is not yet possible we want to know what QHR plans to address this issue.
Currently our clinic uses Global Message as the BEST way to let all staff / providers the correct pronoun to address the patient. Our goal is to make sure the patient is always addressed to the correct pronouns they have specified to our staff/providers. The incorrect use of ones preferred gender can be very upsetting to the patient/family and our staff.
I am told QHR current plans are: "I have been shown that gender inclusivity fields are on our road map to be completed within the next 12 months. "by our clinic's Enterprise Relationship Analyst. Perhaps QHR needs more product developers/planners on staff to expedite this?
Curious to know how other clinics are currently doing.
Thanks!
