When an appt is scheduled as a video, the provider has a window of 1 hour before and 1 hour after the start time to launch the video appt. If the provider is running more than 1 hour late, but the patient waits online, the provider can still launch the appointment. But if the provider is running more than 1 hour late, and the patient logs off then tries to log back in, they are unable to do so past that 1 hour cut off. Some providers run late on a regular basis so this time window should be either modifiable or removed altogether.
