For some reason that Accuro/Medeo techs can't explain, a provider is unable to attach TIF or TIFF files to a secure message to a patient but is able to attach tif or tiff files. This is merely a matter of upper case vs lower case font. Unfortunately my fax server software (Windows Fax and Scan on Windows 7 Server) saves all incoming faxes as TIF and there doesn't seem to be a setting or preference where one can change this to make it save with lower case tif.
Please fix Secure Messaging so it can handle file attachments regardless of whether upper or lower case font (and irrespective of file type too).
Should anyone have a solution to tweaking my software to save incoming files with a lower case tif, then that would be a welcome solution in the meantime.
Thanks.
This issue has been resolved in Accuro build 2017.01.599. Thank you.
