I don't know why Accuro hasn't listened yet to this. The suggestion has been around since 2016... It is a mandate from the college to track appointments
This is essential. When getting letters from family MDs asking about why patient was never seen, I need to be able to quickly see why the patient was cancelled
We created an appointment type called "Cancelled" and leave them on the scheduler, moving them to the top or bottom of the day (8-9 and 4-5 is never booked) this way they remain on the scheduler and in the appointment summary.
It is extremely frustrating that when a patient cancels they are removed from view. It makes it impossible for me to know as a physician who that was.
yes!! it is very frustrating to not know who cancelled when I look at my day sheet. a cancelled appt should still show just like a no show appt with an option to hide it. often I want to follow up with a cancelled patient and at present I have a hard time knowing who cancelled
Yes please!!!! I have patients ask me all of the time when their appointment was originally scheduled for, and it would be very helpful to just glance at the schedule and see this
Thank you so much for the additional feedback, everyone; it's appreciated, and we will take it all under consideration.
We want to hear from anyone who has thoughts/suggestions regarding this (or any!) feature request.
This is so important for tracking purposes and if someone "disappears" from my list because my MOA rescheduled them but I may need them to do some tests or call them in for medical reasons.
Also - when using Cliniconex - if a patient cancels or moves the appointment to another date then often Cliniconex doesn't work properly...
also if an appointment has cut (so cancelled in one spot) and pasted it should show that appointment too
Even if this was only seen in the physician's day sheet. Our physicians always ask if there is a way to see all the patients that have cancelled on their day sheet. They could show up as a certain color or even with a cloudy mask type look.
Like a filter you can turn on or off, 'include cancelled appointments'
Or at least have a list to see what appointments have been moved out of that day either by moves or by cancels!
