While this can't be done in a series (e.g. like Microsoft Outlook meetings), appointments can be mutli-selected in F4 (Quick Patient Appointment View) and then cancelled en mass.
F4 > CTRL+Click, click and drag, etc, to multi-select > Right-click > Cancel Appointment > Confirm Cancellation/Deletion: <OK> > Specify details > <OK>
