Although we verify health card before making app't (only takes a couple seconds) the expiry date definitely should be added. As mentioned, nearly all EMRs offer this
I agree with Grace, we currently have too many rejected claims due to expired health cards. Had the pop up appeared when the patients appointments were scheduled or chart opened if would have significantly reduced these numbers.
This will be also be helpful with the billing module without EMR module. We should not be able to submit the billings if health card is expired.
The alert is there during billing, why not when the appointment is created???

Yes, I agree with the comment. Would love it if there was a pop up, similar in function to a global message. We do not have a scan in method
Could it pop up when you pull up the patient and their health card has expired? Most offices do not have a scan check in method yet would still be beneficial.
