Covering clinic will not get notified of demographic changes at primary clinic. If Enrolled Provider works at multiple clinics patient may come to multiple ones frequently. Workflow: Covering Clinic: Updating Patient Demographics If updates were made to the Patient Demographics, clinics can send the updated information back to the Primary clinic advising them that there were changes made so they can update their records. 1. Go to Patients Section 2. Make required changes 3. Click Update Patient in the bottom row of buttons 4. Click the “Send to Primary Clinic” button in the top right corner The primary clinic then get notified that demographics were changed and they can chose to upload the changes. If there are multiple covering clinics, there is no way for them to know the patient has changed. If they go to load the patient and the pt is already in their Accuro, it will not load the most recent demographics from primary clinic: Click the Add Patient button at the bottom of the window 1. If the Patient is not already in Accuro, the Patient will be added 2. If the Patient is already in Accuro, a prompt will appear stating the Patient exists and asks if you wish to load the Patient. Change request: to have an option to notify all covering clinics of demographic changes. This would come in handy when a patient goes to both clinics fairly frequently if their Dr works at both. They would then have to continually verify their demographics.
