Discontinuing medication 'Prescription'

It is awkward to communicate with the pharmacy when faxing refills that a medication has been discontinued. Either a generated letter needs to be sent, or a note put on a coversheet (not ideal) or on another prescription being refilled, or a phone call made. I would suggest that a button be added to the prescription tab so that if clicked (paralleling the work flow of renewing a medication), it would add a note to the pharmacist that this specific medication is being discontinued. It would need to make the information displayed in the prescription really obvious such that it doesn't look like a renewal, but it would need to be able to work when the user is renewing other medications too (but not necessarily), so that the user could renew two of three medications, for example, but discontinue one. ie. Med #1 sig: mitte: Med #2 sig: mitte Med #3 sig: DISCONTINUED (REASON)

A feature to address this idea is currently scheduled for the 2016.02 iteration of Accuro. Should QHR Technologies be required to reschedule the feature, an additional comment will be added to advise of the new schedule.

Upon release, the Idea will be moved to the Completed tab and QHR Technologies will provide further detail on the implemented solution.
