Automatically save (autosave) notes and forms every 60 seconds

Currently Accuro ONLY automatically save open notes or forms WHEN the user times out. Open or in progress notes/forms are lost forever when the server crashes or when the power on the computer gets accidentally disconnected or when you accidentally choose "No" when prompted to save. The user than just wasted the last x minutes of entries. Even worse, you now are left with NO documentation for the patient's visit. This NEVER happens to paper chart, as all the words you have written down are permanent as soon as you write them! Accuro should have an autosave feature similar to MS Word (where you can select the timing of autosave) or better yet Google drive - where it saves instantanously while you type. This suggestion existed previously under auto-save forms and notes, and Accuro claims to have addressed this in their 2013.07 update, but all that was really addressed was auto-saving at time out, not auto-saving every few minutes!

AutoRecovery will back up an in-progress form or note every 10 seconds. In the event of an unexpected Accuro closure, users will be presented with any unsaved forms or notes they had open with content saved up to 10 seconds before the closure when they log back in.
Note: This item is only applicable to clinics with Accuro hosted on Accuro Cloud or ASP.

AutoRecovery for letters went live in 2023.
AutoRecovery for forms went live in July 2024

there should be an ability to disable this. when writing letters, i sometimes change things that i do not want to copy forward from notes. i do not want autosave screwing this up and updating my encounter notes

This is very important for a sleep lab as we work throughout the night and ACCURO servers reboot every night. We can lose information on forms that are open ...

This is actually SUPER IMPORTANT and should be required as I have lost important data when internet interupts. Also, kind of a liability when we lose data and then have to late entry data that did not auto save.

Yes this would be a wonderful tool. I have lost many documents when I have forgotten to manually save it.

Please please PLEASE include this feature in Accuro. Had to rush out of office the other day and shut computer quickly, losing the over 1 hour consult notes on a new mental health patient. This is not the first time this has happened. So frustrating.

Absolutely essential that this be built in so important information like vitals, history that may not be easy to recall is not lost. Currently I have to remember to hit save periodically with the patient in front of me and that is distracting from patient care.

please add this feature. There are so many great advantages to this software and this is a huge minus.

It is cery disheartening when you find out that you just lost a document you worked on for 90 min!

why is this not already implemented? It's such a basic feature. Step into the 21st century Accuro (or even the 20th, there was autosave then!)!
