Auto-populate Future Date Based On Procedure Date

When giving a patient a lab req, we would like to see a future date populated based on the procedure date; That way the patient knows that they cannot get their lab work done until, for example, 3 months post procedure./appointment.

Does the first component need to be set up a certain way?

This isn't auto-populating a date for me. A rep tried to do this as well, but it didn't work. Could you please advise?

    Hello,

A "DateTextField" component can trigger another DateTextField to auto-populate value.

    • Accuro Menu > Tools > Form Editor

    • Load the form that you would like to manage

    • Right-click each DateTextField component in turn, and choose Edit from the context menu. Each component will need:

      • To have a unique Name (e.g. DateField1 and DateField2)

      • A set Date Format that matches the other date field (e.g. if one is YYYY-MM-DD, the other should be as well)

      • For the field you wish to auto-populate, in the "Default from another Date" section, type the Name you set for the first component in the text field, and then set your calculation parameters (e.g. Add 7 Days).

    • Save each component, and then Save your form.

    • Now when the Form is generated, and a value is added to the first field, the field with the equation will auto-fill.

If you need further clarification, please let me know.

Yes it is. I had someone from client support services attempt, but they were unsuccessful, and told me to post the idea here.

    Hello.

It is possible in the Form Editor to have a date field populate based on another existing date field. Is the procedure date available on your requisition form?
