Exam Sheet and EMR Band Synchronization

Our technicians have to input information on both the chart and exam sheets. It would save time for our technicians and doctors rather than repeating the same information twice.

Every patient we enter information for Visual Acuity and Intraocular Pressures on both the exam sheets and under the EMR bands. We already have letters that pull information off of the exam sheets, but our issue is that we always have to write the information twice. EMR we need to use at a glance whereas the exam sheets are for each appointment. Both are necessary.

What types of data are you adding twice? There might be a few options depending on what you are hoping to achieve.

Any Lab Result or Vitals can be pulled into a note or form if already added to the EMR. Or you could even add these values right to the form and have them save back to the EMR.

When adding details to the Medical History Bands, this can also be pulled into a note or form without additional typing.

Or perhaps a form is filled in with necessary data, you can then convert all the information on the form into a clinical note if "Forms to Letters" are setup.
