Adding the conversation to the task is very helpful, however, with our workflow, it seems like we are having to do multiple steps. In our facility, we decided that anything to do with patients should be task related and not mail related so with the conversation reply going into mail defeats that purpose. Here is what my doctors and I are doing right now. I send them a task, when they reply they have to choose me as a recipient in the conversation and to make sure that the task is not in their inbox, they have to open the task and click me as a recipient again. I've seen some other doctors in the facility who would just complete the task after they reply. They do so it is out of their task inbox. This doesn't make sense especially if the task is not yet completed. The recipient has other concerns regarding this task, the conversation goes within the mail and if the task has to be reassigned to someone, i don't think it would show up in the task inbox again because it has been completed. I wish that if someone replies to a task, 1st - it would automatically choose the recipient as the person who originally sent it but also has an option to assign it to other people, 2nd - that it would just send it back as a task and not as a mail message. Any suggestions to improve our workflow would be appreciated.
