For larger medical practices, it would be helpful if there is a tiered access to billings. For example, admins can have access to everything, reception and technicians should be able to make and edit OHIP bills via the "claim details" function, make, edit (if not reconciled) and reconcile private bills via the private bills section, but should not have access to the entire claims tab, where daily totals and remittance etc is populated. If changes outside of this need to be made, they should have to contact the office admin.
This allows all patients to be billed by the technician, as they are doing the workup of the patient therefore knowing the proper codes and procedures to bill efficiently, without compromising practice information and Dr's confidentiality.
