Our colleagues using Practice Solutions EMR receive the Ministry Roster list in their EMR. The list is then matched with the EMR list of rostered patients, and the EMR is automatically cleaned and updated. Their lists of practice patients are much more accurate than ours, and it affects our payment (we don't know who is rostered--capitation is the major source of income in primary care). Would it be possible to match the electronic list from the Ministry to the EMR roster in Accuro?
We are currently using Data Clerks to try to match patients that are rostered in the EMR to patients that are rostered in the Ministry list, which is difficult and time consuming. A much more elegant IT based approach, which is quite effective in other systems as described above, would be very welcome.
Patient enrollment status should update automatically from monthly roster reports
