Include a read-receipt for Medeo messages within Accuro and allow provider to easily see all the messages that have not been read yet so that they can be followed up.

Currently, within Accuro, there is no way to know if a patient has opened/read a message. As a result I am not sending any important things via messaging. Medeo would be far more useful if this capability existed within Accuro.

    Frank from Allinco Properties Inc.

Please add this feature as we get questions about this very often (have had about 40 providers asking so far).

Medeo should have a feature where you can have the system notify a provider if the patient doesn't read the message within 'x' number of days. That way we are prompted to follow up in other ways and make sure the patient doesn't fall through the cracks. Other secure messaging competitors are offering this so it would be nice to see Medeo at least keep pace with them.

I would like an optional feature that sends a message notifying the sender that a particular medeo message has not been read after a defined number of days. This would make it unnecessary to go checking if a message is unread (which is something our office spends a lot of time doing).

yes, time stamp would be helpful, and as Dahlia said, a filter for "unread" messages would be excellent

Currently the user that send the Medeo message can see if the patient read their message by going into the Medeo messaging window of Accuro.  However, other users that are trying to look at the patients virtual chart can not see if it has been read or when.  We can see it says Yes under Reviewed but doesn't say by patient or when.  It would be helpful to have that info even when you open up the message, such as closed and read 8:20pm or something like that.
