It's really important to clinics to document their interactions with patients. In some cases, it isn't a task per se, and the interaction just need to be documented.

Here are two options to try:
CTRL+F11 will allow you to create a clinical note for the patient from anywhere in Accuro and will show in Encounter Notes and Virtual Chart - just like a visit note.
You can set a quick action key called "Send Message" which essentially brings up the Mail screen. If you deselect a recipient (hold CTRL+click your username) and make sure the option to save to the patient chart is on, it will appear as a note in the Patient section and Virtual Chart as a patient note.
Try it out on a test patient to see if you like it!
